Happy New Year
Raymond and I just got back from visiting Cindy and Matt in Hobbs. While we were there I went to a baby shower for Cindy. It was very nice. I posted pictures to Snapfish and found out how easy it is to add pictures to this site via Snapfish so I added my Christmas pictures too. I made a slide show with music but only the pictures transfered to this blogsite.
I am looking forward to ANDREW! I pray for a healthy, happy baby for Cindy and Matt.

Christmas Poem 2009 by Ralph H. Hill Jr.
This Christmas there is a new generation,
New family members of this great nation.
A great-grand-daughter for Mary Hill
And a great-grand-niece for Uncle Bill.
The new little baby's name is Katelyn
With Kristi and Lex, her proud next-of-kin.
She was born on her grandma's birthday,
It won’t be long until she can run and play.
On "January One of the next decade,
There will be a big New Year's parade,
A few weeks later, the Fleharty clan,
Will surely be blessed with a new, little man.
These great-grand kids will all soon be,
Old enough to enjoy a pretty Christmas tree.
From out of town they both will come,
To show the relatives who they've become.
New traditions will be derived anew
From those started on Mt. Vernon Avenue.
Stockings by the tree, and presents galore,
Along with fond memories from days of yore.
Some I remember include: a Lionel train,
A bicycle, and even toys for the brain,
Such as a chemistry set, full of test tubes,
And chemicals and crystals shaped like cubes.
Most photos of those days cannot be found,
But the fond memories of them still abound.
As Bob Hope always used to say...
"Thanks for the memories" for that Christmas day!

Christmas 2009
Raymond and I went to see Cindy and Matt in Hobbs. Cindy could not travel to Carrollton this year because she is expecing Drew next month. We are all excitied about meeting Drew next month.
On Christmas Day we drove back to Carrollton after stopping at Gwen's house for a few minutes to wish her a Merry Christmas. When we got home we went to see Memaw, Bub and Linda Kay.
On Sunday Kristi,Lex and Katelyn drove up from Lex's parents house. Shane and his family came over to see Katelyn and celebrate a Kilgore Chrismas 2009. Katelyn was the center of attention.
Merry Christmas
(I added Cindy and Matt's pictures first but they ended up last....)

Clouds over Cooper Lake
We took the motor home to Cooper Lake State Parke this weekend and these are a few of the things that we saw. Before I pulled out my camera I saw a deer and a red bird. So far I have seen deer and red brids at each state park that we have visited.
We went on a hike that was 6 miles long. I really enjoyed walking in the woods. It was beautiful.
